Meet Wendy

Wendy Feldman, CLU®, ChFC®, CASL®, CLTC

Wendy Feldman is a third generation New York Life agent, following in the footsteps of her Grandfather Ben, Father Richard, and Uncle Marvin. While the other Feldman's stayed in Ohio, Wendy ventured out west to obtain her Master of Arts Degree in Communication. Wendy became a New York Life Agent on Groundhog Day, 1986. She has since then owned and operated her own firm, The Feldman Agency. As a financial adviser with Eagle Strategies, a subsidiary of New York Life Insurance Company, she specializes in personal, business, estate and retirement planning, as well as insurance and investments planning. Securities are offered through NYLIFE Securities LLC (member FINRA/SIPC).

Educational Background

Wendy graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Organizational Communication. She went on to complete her Master of Arts in Communications from Arizona State University. She then obtained her Chartered Life Underwriter (“CLU®”), Chartered Financial Consultant (“ChFC®”) and Chartered Advisor for Senior Living (“CASL®”) designations from Solomon S. Huebner School of The American College. More recently she received her Certified in Long Term Care (CLTC®) designation from the Corporation for Long Term Care Certification, Inc.

Community Involvement

With a passionate desire to share her personal qualities of leadership and organizational capabilities, Wendy actively contributes her time and energy to the betterment of her community. She has served in various capacities on the Queen Creek Town Council as Council Member, Vice Mayor and Mayor. Wendy was successful in keeping the heritage of Queen Creek alive while growing at a pace that would take the town from the modest 4,000 residents when she joined the Council to the current population of over 33,000. As Mayor of the Town of Queen Creek, she raised the standard for all citizen leaders. Her passion was to provide opportunities for all individual citizens to get involved in civic processes, to become more informed regarding community issues, to commit to improving lives and to take responsibility for shaping their own community. Wendy instituted several programs that aimed to reach out to build community and forge networks between people of different backgrounds.

Wendy has also served as Chair of the Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport Authority, the Maricopa Association of Governments, the Queen Creek Cultural Foundation, as well as serving on the boards of the East Valley Jewish Day School and the Sun Lakes Jewish Congregation. On a state level she served on the Arizona Power Authority and currently serves on the Arizona Investment Council.

Professional Recognition

Of all the awards and recognition Wendy has received, the position she has received the most personal feeling of accomplishment from is her service on the Agent's Advisory Council. This is a committee of New York Life agents who are selected by other agents of New York Life from across the country to represent them at the Home Office. The Agents” Advisory Council serves as a forum to discuss agent related business concerns with members of the Company’s Executive Management Team and Department heads. She has been elected to serve on three separate occasions, as well as being chosen to serve as First Secretary. Wendy’s tenure placed her in the responsible position of meeting individually with agents and taking their concerns to New York life’s Senior Management , as well as department heads and staff. Wendy’s mission was to evaluate products, prepare the team leaders for their presentations and ultimately prepare a final report of issues and outcomes.

Personal Information

Wendy, her husband Eric and their daughter Sydney enjoy their dogs, cat, horses and mules as well as movies, theater, and spending time with family and friends.
